Malaysian performing arts professional working across creative practice and theatre management, with a particular interest in creating opportunities for Southeast Asian artists and connecting our stories with the wider world.

ABOUT ME

I first found theatre through devising and performance in Malaysia, and have since trained and worked across multiple areas of the field. I hold a BFA in Drama (Honors) from NYU Tisch, where my training spanned acting, directing, writing, lighting design, and production. I went on to work in New York, including general management across Broadway and touring productions.I am currently based in London where I'm about to pursue an MSc in Management at UCL. I am fascinated by both the creative heart of theatre and the systems that allow it to exist. I care about making space for artists and stories to grow, while thinking seriously about the infrastructure, resources, and relationships that make sustainable work possible.

SELECTED CREATIVE WORK

I Had an Accident in the Bathroom
A surreal stage piece about a humanoid bird-child who wakes up to find her home –the brain of a young Asian woman in her twenties– in utter chaos. Together with a talking lizard and the help of a sassy tennis umpire, will she ever find the Creator and get everything back to normal?[More info coming soon]
